DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, 09.10.2024 at 12:30\, Dr. Martin Vaeth will be the speaker of our ‘Gut\, Liver and Friends‘ seminar. \nDr. Martin Vaeth is a Junior Group Leader at the Max-Planck Research Group for Systems Immunology at the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg. \nHis research focuses on unraveling the complex interactions between cellular metabolism\, signal transduction\, and the regulation of gene expression within the adaptive immune system. By elucidating these connections\, his labratory aims to identify novel therapeutic targets to modulate immune responses in various diseases\, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. \nHis talk will be entitled: “The INs and OUTs of glucose transporter GLUT3 in T cells”.
