SUMMARY:Hands On! Workshop “Research Data Management”
DESCRIPTION:Research Data Management is essential. It is not only demanded more and more by third party funder (e.g. DFG) but it helps to stay organized and understand your data even in years to come.Sometimes only small changes will make a big difference and help you to meet the standards described as Good Scientific Practice. And the better your data is structured the less time you need searching for files or puzzling over data columns – and you have more time for your actual research. In a joint-venture of the Graduate School “Gut-Liver Axis” and CRC1382 “Gut-Liver Axis” monthly held hands-on workshops will be offered by the Data Steward of CRC 1382\, Lukas C. Bossert. In these workshops practical tips on current and selected topics of the research data lifecycle will be discussed and can be used and applied directly. \nThese workshops are forPhD students\, Post-docs\, PIs or friends of CRC1382.Members of the Segment Molecular and Cellular Biology are of course also very welcome. \nRegister in advance for this meeting. \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. \n\n\n\nThis session will be about managing publication references: “ \nHow to build your own publication database” \nNote! We will use the software “Zotero” (https://www.zotero.org/). \nIt is recommended to install the software and its plugins (for browser\, Word/LibreOffice)\, too\, if you like to follow hands on. \n\nWe are looking forward to seeing you\,Christin and Lukas

SUMMARY:Hands-On-Workshop "Research Data Management"
DESCRIPTION:Research Data Management is essential. It is not only demanded more and more by third party funder (e.g. DFG) but it helps to stay organized and understand your data even in years to come.\nSometimes only small changes will make a big difference and help you to meet the standards described as Good Scientific Practice. \n\nThese workshops are forPhD students\, Post-docs\, PIs or friends of CRC1382.\nMembers of the Segment Molecular and Cellular Biology are of course also very welcome. \n\nIn this session we will talk about this workshop series in general and why RDM is important. \n\nRegister in advance for this meeting:\nhttps://rwth.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJwkce-rqDMjHNLB8VdIukShpPya3O5XXggs \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.\n \n  \n\nWe are looking forward seeing you\,\nChristin and Lukas
