DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, 23.08.2023 at 12:30\, Gilles Storelli will be the speaker of our next ‘Gut\, Liver and Friends‘ seminar. \nDr. Gilles Storelli  is Research Group Leader at the CECAD (Cluster of Excellence Cellular Stress Responses in Aging-Associated Diseases) Research Center at Cologne University\, Germany. \nThe Storelli Lab is interested in a basic\, but fundamental question: how do organisms function properly and maintain homeostasis despite constant internal and environmental perturbations? Among the mechanisms involved in these adaptations\, they are particularly interested in the role of metabolism and use the model organism Drosophila melanogaster to investigate the relationship between stress and metabolism.  \n\nThe title of the talk is: “Intrinsic and interorgan control of intestinal lipid handling”
