Ümran Ay successfully defended her PhD

The series of successfully completed doctorates within the CRC 1382 continues. Beginning of January 2025 Ümran Ay, PhD student in the Department of General, Visceral, and Transplantation Surgery (CRC 1382 project A07, supervised by Frank Schaap and Steven Olde Damink) defended her thesis entitled “Enterohepatic circulation of microbial bile salt conjugates and their interaction with human bile salt receptors”.
