CRC1382 graduate school retreat 2025

This year’s CRC1382 graduate school retreat, held in the picturesque town of Eupen on 29th /30th of April, brought together a dynamic group of PhD and MD students eager to enhance their academic experience and foster collaboration among peers. The retreat provided a unique opportunity for participants to engage in various activities designed to promote both scientific knowledge and community spirit.
The retreat featured scientific presentations where participants showcased their research projects. These presentations fostered constructive feedback and encouraged networking among peers, enriching the collaborative atmosphere that is vital for academic growth.
The participants also took advantage of the perfect summer wheather by enjoying an enlightening city tour through Eupen, allowing attendees to explore the history and culture of this charming locale, inlcuding some refreshing ice cream.
One of the highlights of the retreat was a workshop titled “Let’s write a Review about the Gut-Liver Axis”. This session was meant to equippe students with essential skills for crafting a comprehensive review, an important aspect of their academic journey. To balance work with leisure, participants enjoyed friendly matches of volleyball and badminton, fostering camaraderie while promoting physical activity.
