Anika Beckers successfully defended her PhD

Anika Beckers, PhD student in the Department of Internal Medicine III (project B04, supervised by Marie Berres), successfully defended her thesis. Anika investigated the role of dendritic cells as cellular targets of gut-liver communication in chronic liver disease and hepatocellular carcinogenesis.
