We are delighted to share that Agnes Seeger, a doctoral student in Angela Schippers’ lab at the Department of Paediatrics (project B02), successfully defended her PhD thesis in mucosal immunology in mid‑June 2026. In her work, Agnes explored how adhesion molecules shape gut–liver communication during both homeostasis and inflammation.
