We warmly congratulate Asmae Laouina on the successful defense of her doctoral thesis at the end of July 2026. Under the supervision of Oliver Pabst (project B06), Asmae’s dissertation, entitled “The Immune Topology of the Gut Barrier: A Focus on IgA Plasma Cells,” explored how the spatial localisation of plasma cells is linked to their IgA secretion function along the proximal–distal and villus–crypt axes of the small intestine.
