Research Data Management is essential. It is not only demanded more and more by third party funder (e.g. DFG) but it helps to stay organized and understand your data even in years to come.
Sometimes only small changes will make a big difference and help you to meet the standards described as Good Scientific Practice. And the better your data is structured the less time you need searching for files or puzzling over data columns – and you have more time for your actual research. In a joint-venture of the Graduate School “Gut-Liver Axis” and CRC1382 “Gut-Liver Axis” monthly held hands-on workshops will be offered by the Data Steward of CRC 1382, Lukas C. Bossert. In these workshops practical tips on current and selected topics of the research data lifecycle will be discussed and can be used and applied directly.

These workshops are forPhD students, Post-docs, PIs or friends of CRC1382.
Members of the Segment Molecular and Cellular Biology are of course also very welcome.

Register in advance for this meeting.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

This session will be about metadata and ontology: “How to describe your project with proper metadata”

We are looking forward to seeing you,
