on Wednesday, 07.12.2022 at 3:30 pm, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Andre Franke will be the speaker of our next ‘GutLiver and Friends‘ seminar.

Andre Franke is Director at the Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology at the Christian Albrechts University Kiel, Germany.

His Research Interests:

“My main scientific interests are the development and establishment of novel high-throughput technologies, the inherent bioinformatic integration and application of both to identify genetic and epigenetic causes of chronic inflammatory diseases such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, and atopic eczema. Having worked on genome-wide association studies for the last years, my research agenda currently focuses on clinical data management, whole-genome and whole-exome resequencing, microbiome analyses and immunogenetics studies.”

Andre Franke had accepted our invitation to give a presentation at our CRC1382 symposium in October, but unfortunately was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict. We are now happy to have him as a guest at our ‘GutLiver and Friends‘ seminar! The title of his Talk is:
