In this talk I will first go through how novel pathways for inflammation in the bile ducts can be uncovered using single-cell/nuclei and spatial sequencing in mouse models and human material. Then I will discuss how organ-on-a-chip technology can potentially be used to understand these and other pathways and also serve as a platform for disease modeling.
