‘Gut, Liver and Friends’ Seminar with Gad Frankel, London

Gad Frankel is Professor for Molecular Pathogenesis at the Department of Life Sciences at Imperial College London, UK.

Gad Frankel and his team study infection of mucosal surfaces by enteric (Citrobacter rodentium) and pulmonary (Klebsiella pneumoniae) pathogens in the context of antimicrobial resistance, the microbiome and immunometabolism; and bacterial conjugation.

The title of his talk is

“Deconstructing a type III secretion system effector network unravels the inherent robustness and plasticity in pathogenesis and immunity ”
