“The Fast and the Furious” at Pint of Science 2024

Pint of Science brings scientists to share their research directly with the public in local cafes and pubs around the world. Pr. Grognot (Project A10) gave a talk entitled “The fast and the furious” at the first Pint of Science event in Aachen (May 14). She highlighted how bacteria can swim, and the suspected importance of bacterial motility for invading our body. She showed how the collaborative nature of the CRC is allowing her lab to explore how bacteria swim in our gut – in health or disease.
