On Wednesday, 22.01.2025 at 12:30, Ass.-Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Thomas Vogl will be the speaker of our ‘GutLiver and Friends‘ seminar.

Thomas Vogl is Assistant Professor in “Microbiome in Cancer Immunology” under the tenure-track model at the Medical University of Vienna.

He investigates which microbial and tumor factors are crucial for successful cancer therapies. His expertise lies in the combination of biological experiments with computer-assisted analyses. In this context, the immune system is analyzed in the laboratory using blood samples from patients alongside novel high-throughput methods and automated liquid handling robots.

His talk is entitled:

“Deciphering human antibody repertoires against the microbiome in health and disease”.
