CRC1382 graduate school: new clinical rotation in pathology

To further strengthen the translational aspect of the educational programme for the PhD students of the CRC1382 “Gut-Liver Axis” graduate school, a new tailored clinical rotation covering the field of Pathology was set up beginning of this year. Next to a lecturing part, where the students learned about the healthy and pathological state of the gut and liver, they also had the chance to see pathological preparations of human gastrointestinal organs.

This rotation was a great success and we want to thank Dr. Kühnel and his team from the Institute of Pathology at the UKA for their commitment. We are looking forward to continue this valuable collaboration throughout the second funding period.
